My Most Popular Video

I know that there is a link here on my blog to all of my YouTube makeup tutorials, but I just thought that I would put my most popular one (by far ;-) here in a post so you can maybe find it easier. Hope it helps you out!

Make Up For Ever Swatches

I'm just starting my MUFE collection (and I warn that due to rather expensive prices it will indeed be a slow process lol), but I still wanted to share with you some swatches of what I do have so you can make a better decision about what is a pretty luxurious makeup purchase.

(Left to Right)

99 (matte red) - I honestly cannot say enough about this shadow! I looked long and (sorta) hard for a red shadow other than MAC's Mi'Lady and this went above and beyond all expectations. The color is more of a bright red instead of a deep or dark blood-like shade, great for pale skin. I still cannot believe the formula, of all the MUFE shadows I own this one has the best formula - a little goes a long way and it blends like butter. Easily worth more than the $19 price.

Eggshell 3 (matte ivory) - I honestly thought that I would use this more than I actually have. Beautiful shade and exceptional formula but I just wish the shadow turned out a bit more opaque than it appears on my very pale skin. I prefer more of a contrast with my lid and brow-bone shade than this provides but I still do not regret my buying it, I see it as a very multi-purpose product that I can find another use for (face highlight perhaps)?

9 (vibrant matte lavender) - Beautiful pastel lavender that is somehow still extremely bright and vivacious. I have an urge to sheer this out on my cheeks and use it as a blush ;-)

92 (matte brilliant purple) - Last but by no means least is the great #92, one of MUFE's more famous shades for certain. I admit that this shade was the entire reason I started my MUFE collection, a good purple is almost impossible to find. This isn't just a good purple, it's the absolute best I have come across. Brilliant really is the best description (kudos sephora ;-) Bright but at the same time beautifully deep, this can be used for an immense amount of looks.

Overall my experience with Make Up For Ever has been one of no regrets, these shadows boast the greatest formula and texture I have come across. Even though the price is very high, when you use the product there will be no doubt in your mind as to the quality validating the cost. Can't wait for my collection (obsession?) to keep growing, especially since with every three shadows you buy at a time you get the pallet, (thanks Sephora, your rewards program stinks but this deal is pretty cool . . . and sneaky since you will have empty pallets you're dying to fill if you get six or more shadows)!
